About Us

The Orr’s Island Library is a community library open year round to all residents and visitors to the Town of Harpswell. It has a significant collection of mysteries and other fiction, children’s books, audios, CDs and DVDs, as well as reference books and wireless computer access. We also have a growing collection of Maine-related books and genealogical material.

The library runs children’s programming every Wednesday in July, and the facility is available to community organizations for meetings and workshops year round. All scheduling is dependent on the most recent guidance by the CDC and State of Maine.
